Photographing people is my favorite thing to do, so it never feels like work. I think this is an important element I bring to any set, especially for clients who may be inexperienced in front of the camera. I'm a leader without being bossy and a seasoned professional without sacrificing fun. I'll guide you through the process, start to finish, to make sure you're prepared and confident for your photoshoot. You can expect me to be on time and ready to adapt to any scenario, be it inclement weather, tricky lighting situations, time crunches, or even disgruntled guests who may need an attitude adjustment. I'm efficient and collaborative on set, making sure to get a ton of variety without overshooting. My sessions run smoothly and leave clients with melted anxiety and a huge ego boost. Here are a few common questions I get that might guide you in the process:

1: How do I book with you?

Booking is easy! Reach out directly through my contact page and give me an idea of what you’re looking for. The more details you give, the more accurately I can customize a session to suit your needs. This includes things like:

• Concepts, photo ideas, and inspiration

• timeframe & availability

• If you have a team in place for Hair, makeup, & styling, or if you’d like me to suggest artists from my network of talented creatives

• Locations or the need for location suggestions

• budget & add-on requests

• deadlines and delivery preferences

2: the booking process

I prefer to communicate through text and/or email so we can keep a record of ideas, plans, details, and photo sets. As a general rule to protect both myself and my clients, every photoshoot requires a signed contract and at least 50% of your total payment due as soon as you book. Any remaining balance is Due in full on the day of the shoot. Extra time on set, rush fees, and extra edits will be billed separately if applicable to your session. Previews and edits will only be delivered once the entire payment is processed.

3: how should i prepare for my photoshoot?

• stay hydrated and get plenty of sleep before you’re on camera. You’ll look refreshed, be more focused, and have more energy. as fun as they are, photoshoots can be physically demanding, especially on location, and no one wants to be the weakest link.

• Treat yo’self! the best subjects are the most confident, and nothing tops off the confidence tank like a manicure, pedicure, fresh blowout, and a solid tan. you’ll thank yourself later, and get your edits back faster.

• Moisturize your skin and bring extra lotion, bronzer, or oil with you to the shoot.

• make sure your clothes fit! This seems like it would be obvious, but I have clients who consistently buy new wardrobe for a shoot, only to find out their fancy new threads could use some tailoring. save yourself the frustration and false hope, and make sure your fits are properly planned out.

• If you’re booking a boudoir, lingerie, or nude shoot, be wary of any clothing marks from jeans, leggings, or even tight shoes & socks. It’s best to come to the shoot in loose fitting clothes, comfortable undies, and even sandals or slippers. Having a robe or coverup with you is always a good idea for breaks and location changes. All this can be edited out, but shoots run smoother and faster when you think ahead.

4: can i bring someone with me to my photoshoot?

• 1000% YES. Having a partner or friend along for the ride can help ease any nerves, and make you feel more comfortable, especially for first time clients. just make sure they’re someone who’s not going to stress you out, be judgy, or try to micromanage the shoot. vibes on set are very important, and having the right sidekick can make all the difference.

• As detail oriented as I am, I always appreciate a second set of eyes to catch the little things that any one person can’t possibly keep track of.

5: How long before i get my previews?

• Preview turnaround is up to 2 weeks max. proofs are delivered via dropbox link directly to your inbox. This link has an expiration date of 30 days, so choose your photos sooner than later.

• If for any reason, you need previews and/or edits sooner than 2 weeks, I can have images ready within 48 hours for a $500 Rush fee.

6: How do I pick my favorites?

• When you receive your dropbox link, the best way to let me know which photos you want edited is to comment directly on the images within dropbox. This not only sends me a list of file numbers via email, but it will save your selections within the app for later reference.
